I am Michael Engshun, a photography enthusiast. Started in photography with a Kodak pocket digital in the late '90s to capture family moments. Digital photogaphy really opened up the ability to experiment endlessly and capture many shots I would have passed to conserve film. I made the move to a DSLR in 2004 when it was clear kids in middle school activities were simply too much for pocket digicams to capture consistently well. Well that *really* opened new vistas and helped develop a love for photography. Happily, my son caught the bug and loves shooting as well.
